Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the main campus team in Ohio. You will support patients with daily living activities, perform delegated care tasks, and help maintain department operations, reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Orientation is required, CPR/BLS certification is expected, and several pathway options are available for qualification. You will work within a not-for-profit system serving southwest Ohio with a mission to deliver high-quality care across life

Qualifications

• Completion of KH Nursing Assistant orientation.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Must have one of the following: six months as a nursing assistant in a hospital or long-term care facility; completion of Nursing Assistant course in last six months; nursing student or pre-nursing listed on transcripts; current KH employee.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and perform delegated patient care tasks.
• Maintain knowledge, skill, and ability for delegated tasks.
• Support department operations and perform other duties as assigned.
• Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
