Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Mother Baby Unit. This full-time position involves 3/12 hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am and rotational weekends/holidays. You will support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and help maintain unit operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with vital signs, fetal monitoring, and entering lab results in PENN chart, while stocking rooms and ensuring clean, organized equipment areas. An equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED is required or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide and Nursing Assistant credentials are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care under RN supervision.
• Stock patient care rooms and assist with supplies and equipment.
• Assist with vital signs, fetal monitoring, and bedside glucose monitoring as directed.
