Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required, substitution with relevant experience possible.
• Basic Life Support (Required) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care to patients as delegated by the Clinical Nurse and according to hospital policy and procedure.
• Assist with procedures as determined by hospital policy and procedure, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe patient and unit environment.
• Provide optimum assistance to the medical and nursing staff by providing/ assisting patient with activities of daily living and daily assignments.
• Assist in orientation of new Nursing Assistants.
• Provide courteous and prompt response to patient requests.
• May be required to cover the house.
• Assist with unit maintenance related to ordering and receiving supplies, medications, manuals, and equipment.

Education

High School Diploma or GED (Required) Substitution: Relevant experience may be substituted for the High School Diploma/GED requirement.
