Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support non-acute patients and assist the RN in providing compassionate basic care. You will help with activities of daily living, monitor patient status, and maintain a safe, clean environment during night shifts.

This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and patient comfort in a fast-paced unit. The position requires a GED or high school diploma, 6 months to 1 year of related experience when possible, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year work related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Provide care under the supervision of the registered nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and note patient changes.
• Assist with feeding and fluid balance, report issues promptly.
• Communicate patient status to RN, team, and physicians as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in a fast-paced unit.
