Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide essential patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living, basic nursing tasks, and maintaining a safe environment while engaging patients and families in the care plan.

The role requires good English communication, a high school diploma or GED, and current BLS certification. Prior CNA experience is preferred, with the schedule including day shifts and some weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the RN and team.
• Assist with feeding and monitor fluid balance appropriate to age and condition.
• Provide explanations to patient and family about care procedures.
• Document per unit standards within shift.
• Support physicians and team during procedures as directed by RN.
• Demonstrate flexibility and composure in stressful situations.
