Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalency required.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the state registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Measure and document vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintain stock, clean equipment and assist with linen and room setup.
