Job summary

Pine Haven Christian Home is seeking an LPN or RN Nurse Supervisor to lead night-shift staff, support quality care, and ensure residents feel safe and cared for on our Haven Drive campus.

Ideal candidates hold an active WI license, have supervisory experience, and are committed to compassionate leadership, teamwork, and compliance with long-term care regulations. This role offers growth, stability, and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active Wisconsin LPN or RN license.
• Minimum three years’ staff nurse experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to work with others.
• Knowledge of nursing practice, laws and guidelines for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day floor staff functions in compliance with laws and Pine Haven policies.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet residents’ daily care needs; assign work and monitor absenteeism.
• Make rounds to observe residents and staff compliance with care requirements.
• Provide direct nursing care when needed and administer medications per MD orders.
• Attend team meetings and collaborate across departments.
• Maintain residents’ dignity, comfort, and wellbeing in all duties.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation with management and clinical staff.
• Be flexible to work beyond normal hours or in other roles when required.
• Report suspected abuse or neglect immediately per policy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Notify changes in residents’ needs promptly.
