Pine Haven Christian Home in Wisconsin is seeking licensed nurses to join a team-focused environment offering full-time and part-time roles in AM, PM, and NOC shifts.

The role emphasizes compassionate resident care, coordination with physicians, EMR documentation, and adherence to Pine Haven's mission. Candidates must maintain licensure in WI and commit to an every-other weekend/holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current WI LPN or RN license.
• Demonstrates patient-centered care and mission alignment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-today functions of the nursing assistant
• Receive physician's orders and execute as appropriate
• Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to each resident in EMR
• Ensure appropriate documentation and communication of changes in a resident's needs and/or condition
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Requisition and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services, as ordered by the physician
• Consult with the resident's physician in providing the resident's care and treatment
• Review the resident's EMR for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc.
• Maintain established nursing standards
• Make periodic checks to ensure that prescribed treatments are being properly administered by certified nursing assistants and to evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status
• Notify the resident's physician and P.O.A./Guardian of changes in condition
• Administer professional services such as; catheterization, tube feedings, wound care, etc.
• Ensure that personnel providing direct care to residents are providing such care in accordance with the resident's care plan and wishes
