Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of masters, post-masters’ or doctrine NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN.
• Current active RN and NP license in NYS required.
• National NP certification required for Internal hire: Required upon transfer into new position / External hire: Required at the time of application.
• Current BLS, ACLS required.
• DEA or DEA eligible required.
• Agreement from appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis and treatment under physician collaboration in the specialty involved, following written practice agreements and protocols.
• Practice of registered professional nursing by a nurse practitioner within a specialty, in collaboration with a licensed physician.
