Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital seeks a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager (CANM) to lead nurse staffing and shift operations in a setting with advanced care needs. The CANM ensures high-quality patient care, optimized flow, and strong customer experience, reporting to the Nursing Operations leadership.

The CANM will collaborate with department leaders within LMH Endoscopy, manage care assignments, monitor patient status, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while supporting staff

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year of RN experience; acute care setting preferred.
• Current Florida RN license or Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certifications in area of expertise (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure delivery of high-quality care and patient flow.
• Coordinate staffing assignments based on patient acuity and team skills.
• Collaborate with Nursing Operations Manager to support unit operations.
• Conduct Nurse Leader rounds and address patient/family and physician concerns.
• Support safety huddles and adherence to policies and standards.
