Job summary

Personalized Nursing LIGHT House is seeking a part-time LPN or RN to support a Men’s Residential & Withdrawal Management Program in Madison Heights. The role covers night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a focus on monitoring residents and supporting recovery in a structured, 30-bed setting.

Qualified candidates hold a current LPN license (RN preferred) and have strong interpersonal skills. Experience in substance use disorder treatment and CIWA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn internal systems (MS Office 365, FileMaker Pro).
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Monitor medical status including vital signs, medication monitoring, withdrawal symptoms.
• Conduct health assessments and assist with nursing care plans.
• Observe clients using CIWA and other protocols; document observations.
• Support self-administration of medications and maintain accurate records.
• Document behaviors and incidents per protocols.
• Engage clients in treatment readiness and recovery discussions.
• Develop rapport with clients and maintain therapeutic relationships.
• Coordinate intake, orientation, and required paperwork.
• Collaborate with counselors and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow health and safety policies; keep environment clean and safe.
• Assist with household tasks (meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
