Apploi seeks an RN/LPN Night Shift Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and deliver patient-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will supervise shifts, assign tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• CPR/BLS/AED.
• 1 year of progressive leadership experience required (e.g., charge nurse, Nursing Resource Coordinator).
• 1 year of Long-Term Care experience.
• Requires high energy and upbeat personality.
• Ability to work as part of weekend on-call rotation.
• Positive team building through positive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Creates a caring and compassionate patient-focused experience by building healing relationships with patient, families, staff, and colleagues.
• Demonstrates knowledge of evidence-based practice and participates in unit-based journal clubs.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement on the clinical area.
• Utilizes nursing process in managing resident care, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge planning.
• Provides psychosocial support and counseling.
• Collaborates with physicians and care team to ensure quality resident care.
• Records changes observed in patient condition according to policies.
• Ensures medication safety and infection control practices.
• Leads by building healthy relationships among staff and promotes shared governance.
• Oversees hand-offs to ensure clear communication of patient status.
• Ensures timely implementation of physician orders and updates to care team.
