Job summary

Fairpark Health and Rehab is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to lead nightly clinical operations and support nursing staff, ensuring safe, resident-centered care.

You will partner with the Director of Nursing, oversee staffing, review notes, and enforce policies while maintaining regulatory compliance during overnight hours.

This role suits a seasoned nurse leader who communicates clearly, manages priorities in a fast-paced setting, and mentors a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/RN license required.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Director of Nursing in planning and evaluating the nursing service department.
• Develop and update policies and procedures for daily nursing operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Determine staffing needs and supervise scheduling within state guidelines.
• Ensure direct nursing care is provided by licensed staff and aides as applicable.
• Review nurses' notes for accuracy and resident response to care.
• Incorporate training materials into in-service programs and lead educational initiatives.
