Job summary

Phoenix Specialty Hospital seeks a House Supervisor to oversee patient care on the night shift and provide clinical and administrative leadership. You will ensure staffing, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the Chief Clinical Officer on procedures and policy compliance.

Responsibilities include quality reporting, incident documentation, and supporting HR functions for nursing personnel while adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience required; long-term acute care and acute care experience preferred.
• ICU experience preferred; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current Arizona RN license or multi-state license; specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees patient care on the designated shift and ensures staff competency.
• Staffing, emergency response, quality and incident reporting, and HR support for nursing personnel.
• Consults with staff, physicians, and leadership on procedures and hospital policy.
• Manage Code Blue and critical care activities, including hemodynamic monitoring.
• Coordinate staffing based on census and acuity within budget; delegate duties.
• Support infection prevention, CQI, and patient safety initiatives.
