Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Oversee patient care on the designated shift; ensure staff are competent and fulfill assignments.
• Serve as the shift's clinical and administrative resource; consult with staff, physicians, and Nurse Management.
• Manage emergencies, including Code Blue, and demonstrate competence in critical care.
• Coordinate staffing based on census and acuity; adjust staff to stay within budget.
• Support CQI, infection prevention, and patient safety activities; report hazards and injuries.
• Ensure treatments and tests are performed as ordered and charges are captured; monitor equipment.
