Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph's Hospital in Denver seeks a Nurse Clinical Leader who will oversee night shift operations and provide clinical leadership and mentoring to the nursing team.

This role manages staffing, ensures patient safety, supports performance reviews, drives quality metrics, and participates in governance while delivering bedside care and coordinating care across the unit. Strong leadership, communication, and change management are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; valid compact licenses must be transferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; must obtain BSN within four years of hire/promotion.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and clinical expertise during shift and department operations.
• Lead staffing decisions and unit coordination to meet census/acuity needs.
• Oversee competency, performance reviews, and caregiver development.
• Support governance and quality initiatives; drive unit KPIs and safety metrics.
• Deliver bedside care and coordinate care with the health team.
• Mentor and precept staff; manage onboarding/orientation and talent retention.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation accuracy.
