Qualifications

• Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Registered Nurses must obtain BSN within four years of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Leads change, scheduling, and performance reviews to maintain unit KPIs.
• Ensure staffing and skill levels match census and acuities.
• Provide bedside nursing care while supervising night shift staff.
• Precept, orient, and develop unit staff and charge nurses on night shift.
• Oversee competency, audits, and ongoing education for staff.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and document accurately.
