Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, seeks a Nurse Assistant for the MG2 Telemetry unit. The position is part-time per diem with a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7:30am) and a 4 days on/2 weekends pattern in a 6-week cycle. Expect basic patient care, safety, and teamwork under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include patient assistance, supply management, feeding, specimen collection, and participation in rounding initiatives to enhance safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA registry or clinical rotations in nursing program required; EMT considered in lieu of certification/rotation.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under RN guidance and physician orders.
• Obtains supplies to ensure rooms are ready for admission and cleared after discharge.
• Feeds patients, applies dysphasia precautions, and records intake/output.
• Collects specimens (urine, clean catch, foley, stool for cdiff) as directed.
• Assists with heat/cold packs, wraps, and orthopaedic devices as needed.
• Participates in hourly rounding to promote patient safety and comfort; assists with toileting and repositioning.
• Seeks guidance from Nurse Manager for conflict resolution.
