Job summary

McLaren Health in Mount Clemens, MI is seeking a Patient Care Associate to join the Medical/Surgical Telemetry 3W unit on the night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with scheduled bi-weekly hours. This role supports patient-centered care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include performing delegated care tasks, assisting with daily activities, hygiene, mobility, and feeding, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while adhering to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection-control policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Formal education in medical careers or enrollment in nursing school, or two+ years in PCA/Nurse Assistant role.
• BLS certification from approved bodies is required before start date and valid for at least 60 days after.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care interventions as delegated by the RN to meet treatment goals.
• Delivers compassionate support to patients and families.
• Assists with daily activities and personal hygiene (bathing, feeding, dressing, mobility).
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and other health regulations.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and follows infection-control policies.
