Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Safely transports patients via wheelchair or stretcher and completes required documentation.
• Serves as an Observer for patients needing constant observation, in person or via remote monitoring.
• Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate unit operations.
• Documents care provided in the electronic medical record.
