Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide to support cardiac intermediate care patients on the 6T unit. The role involves assisting with ADLs, hygiene, vital signs, and basic clinical tasks under supervision.

Eligibility for benefits applies. The position is full-time with a night shift schedule, and a requirement to work every third weekend. A current Nurse Aide registry listing and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Take vital signs and record measurements.
• Assist with feeding and ambulation as assigned.
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked.
