Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Level IV NICU to join the night shift (7p-7a). You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to neonates.

The ideal candidate holds ADN or BSN, Texas RN license, and demonstrates NICU experience, in line with Magnet Hospital standards. BCLS, PALS, STABLE, and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications are expected within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN required with 12 months enrollment and 24 months completion.
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• Minimum 1 year recent Level III/IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor within 30 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
