Job summary

Medical City Dallas, a 895+ bed tertiary care center, houses a Level IV NICU with 108 beds and a large team of specialists. Our NICU nurses provide high-quality, compassionate care and participate in continuous education and improvement initiatives.

We seek a qualified RN to join our team for the night shift, bringing ADN/BSN, appropriate Texas licensure, and NICU experience. STABLE, Neonate Resuscitation, and PALS are required within defined timeframes.

Qualifications

• RN license (Texas or compact)
• 1 year recent Level III/IV NICU experience
• STABLE within 18 months of start
• Neonate Resuscitation within 6 months
• PALS certification required
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
