Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a registered nurse for the 3 North Medical Telemetry unit in Fayetteville, NC to provide professional nursing care during night shifts. Relocation assistance is available and candidates must hold NC RN licensure or multi-state compact.

The role supports patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. New grads encouraged to apply; associates degree required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and Formal Training: Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as an RN or Compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient and identifies patient care needs.
• Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Functions as charge nurse as assigned.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Maintains an accurate and relevant record of patient care.
• Establishes collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with staff.
