Job summary

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital seeks a Regular Night Shift NICU RN to provide direct pediatric nursing care in a high-acuity environment. You will follow established policies and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care for critical conditions.

The role requires six months of RN experience, active licensure, and certifications in BLS and life support. You will participate in discharge planning and continuous quality improvement while

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Six months' registered nurse experience required.
• Active RN licensure in applicable state(s) and BLS/HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with life-threatening, medically complex conditions.
• Deliver highly skilled care with technology and interventions.
• Initiate emergency treatment and infant resuscitation when needed.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and discharge needs.
• Coordinate care with all disciplines for well-coordinated care.
• Document orders and patient condition for ongoing care.
• Apply evidence-based nursing practices to meet age-specific needs.
• Adhere to professional nursing standards and ethics.
