Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician for a busy production facility. This permanent night-shift role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern, focusing on minimising downtime, improving reliability and safe, efficient machinery operation.

You will respond to breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and support installation and commissioning of new equipment. A strong emphasis on health & safety and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled with both mechanical and electrical competence.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnose faults on production machinery and implement fixes
• Work on motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors and control systems
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Ensure all work follows health & safety standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects
