Abbott's Casa Grande, AZ nutrition manufacturing facility is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for the 12-hour night shift (6pm–6am). You will support packaging lines, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production on schedule.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of maintenance experience. You will collaborate with engineering and operations, follow GMP/OSHA standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in a global healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years of multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, and fabrication.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and use precision tools.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Be a Key Team Member: Work alongside Operations to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.
• Trouble0shoot & Repair: Diagnose complex equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and repair high-speed filling, packaging, and conveying systems.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute PMs, support autonomous maintenance, and plan major repairs during scheduled shutdowns.
• Fabricate & Upgrade: Design, weld, and install mechanical and electronic components; perform PLC program changes and maintain AC drive systems.
• Collaborate & Improve: Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement design changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train & Mentor: Share your expertise with peers and provide technical guidance to improve team capabilities.
• Ensure Compliance: Follow GMP, FDA, USDA, OSHA, and company safety standards in all tasks.
