Job summary

HealthPartners Direct is seeking a part-time RN for the MRCC to serve as the initial contact for admissions, transfers, and consultations. The role involves coordinating hand-offs, triaging patients, and partnering with MRCC staff for critical admissions such as Cath Lab activations or acute stroke cases.

The position requires MN RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and 2–5 years of hospital RN experience (or 2+ years as a paramedic in 911 response).

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in State of Minnesota.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2–5 years of recent clinical RN experience in a hospital setting or equivalent paramedic background.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for HPD admissions, transfers, and consultations.
• Coordinate provider-provider hand-offs with clinics and hospitals.
• Triage HPD patients to ensure proper physician connection and escalate to MRCC as needed.
• Assist with critical admissions such as Cath Lab Activations or Acute Stroke admissions.

Education

Minnesota RN licensure

BLS & ACLS certification

2-5 years clinical RN experience in hospital setting

Paramedic 911 response experience (2+ years)
