Montclair Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Monitor Tech for the Night shift. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms on direct monitors, transcribing orders when CPOE/EMR is unavailable, and ensuring tests are ordered and completed.

You will prepare patient records and assist nursing staff with indirect care while maintaining focus on dysrhythmia monitoring responsibilities. The ideal candidate holds a Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate, a current BLS credential, and at least six

Competenze

• Six months healthcare experience or Monitor Technician experience preferred.
• Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• BLS certificate required and maintained.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for all new hires.

Mansioni

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct monitors.
• Transcribe physician orders in the absence of CPOE/EMR documentation.
• Verify that lab and radiology tests have been ordered and completed.
• Prepare and compile patient records and charts daily.
• Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care as needed without detracting from primary dysrhythmia monitoring duties.
