Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Molding Operator I for the 3rd shift (overnight) in Tennessee. The role requires attention to quality and production standards, and involves operating injection-molding presses, logging production data, and moving finished products through packaging areas.

This entry-level position rewards meticulous work with on-the-job training, occasional overtime, and opportunities to grow within manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Visually inspect products for defects.
• Accurately count, label, package, and document products.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn policies, procedures and basic molding operations.
• Previous manufacturing or injection-molding experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain injection-molding presses according to procedures.
• Visually inspect molded products per QIP and mold book requirements.
• Package completed products per packing process sheet.
• Count, weigh, fill totes, and label products for accuracy.
• Load/unload components into/out of molds depending on automation level.
• Move products/materials between processes.
• Complete paperwork and production records (output, scrap, downtime, equipment issues, labor).
• Follow all company policies, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
