Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 3rd shift in Tennessee. The role involves operating and maintaining assembly equipment, inspecting products per the QIP, and documenting production metrics.

You will package, label, and move products through the process while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and teamwork with occasional independent work.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
• Ability to complete production documentation accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn company policies, procedures, and basic assembly operations.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assembly equipment.
• Visually inspect assembled products to meet QIP requirements.
• Package finished products according to packing sheets.
• Complete production paperwork: quantities, scrap, downtime, equipment problems, labor reporting.
• Count products by weight and fill totes.
• Label products for proper identification and count accuracy.
• Move products between processes and load/unload components.
• Follow procedures to complete tasks and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Perform other routine production duties as assigned.
