Job summary

Viking Aggregates in Texas is seeking a Night Shift Mobile Equipment Operator to safely operate a front-end loader in a sand pit/quarry environment, supporting production by loading trucks, maintaining stockpiles, and aiding plant operations.

This role requires staying alert during night shifts, performing routine checks, and coordinating with plant crews to keep material flow steady. Strong safety focus and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Loader or heavy equipment experience.
• Experience in aggregates, quarry, mining or construction.
• Ability to work safely around trucks and other equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Reliable and dependable with strong attendance.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently.
• Load customer and company trucks to proper weight/specifications.
• Feed hoppers, conveyors, and crushers.
• Build and maintain stockpiles.
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance (greasing, fueling, cleaning).
• Keep work areas clean and control spillage.
• Work with plant and pit crews to maintain production flow.

Viking Aggregates is Night Shift Mobile Equipment Operator to safely operate a front-end loader in a sand pit/ quarry environment. This role is essential to keeping production moving by loading trucks, maintain stockpiles, and supporting plant operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently
• Load customer and company trucks to proper weight/ specifications
• Feed hoppers, conveyors, and crushers
• Build and maintain stockpiles
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance (greasing, fueling, cleaning)
• Keep work areas clean and control spillage
• Work with plant and pit crews to maintain production flow

Schedule

• 6:00PM -6:00AM, 6 nights/week (Sunday night - Saturday morning)
