Job summary

Viking Aggregates is seeking a Night Shift Mobile Equipment Operator to safely operate a front-end loader in a sand pit/quarry environment. This role helps keep production moving by loading trucks, maintaining stockpiles, and supporting plant operations.

Schedule is 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, six nights per week (Sunday night through Saturday morning). Medical, dental, vision, disability & life insurance, PTO starts day 1 and paid holidays are offered, with post-offer drug testing and background checks.

Qualifications

• Loader or heavy equipment experience required.
• Experience in aggregates, quarry, mining or construction.
• Ability to work safely around trucks and equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Reliable and dependable with strong attendance.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently
• Load customer and company trucks to proper weight/ specifications
• Feed hoppers, conveyors, and crushers
• Build and maintain stockpiles
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance (greasing, fueling, cleaning)
• Keep work areas clean and control spillage
• Work with plant and pit crews to maintain production flow
