Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist I for Greensboro, NC, working Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Relocation assistance will be considered. This role offers training, benefits starting Day 1, and a path across various diagnostics disciplines.

Qualifications

• MLS/CLS credentials or equivalent clinical lab qualification.
• Experience in high-complexity testing is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result.
• Maintain records that demonstrate proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Follow the laboratory's policies when test systems are not within performance ranges.
• Identify problems that may affect test performance and notify a supervisor.
