Job summary

Uponor is hiring for a 12-hour shift role that supports material mixing and tooling on the production floor. The operator stages mixed hoppers, disposes of scrap, and prepares PEX tools for extrusion, working closely with the mixing and tooling team on the production line.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic computer and mechanical skills, and the ability to multitask and solve problems. In-person site location with comprehensive benefits and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills required.
• Must be able to problem solve, multitask/prioritize and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift.
• Manufacturing experience of 1-3 years is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mixer at a high efficiency level.
• Operates all tool processing equipment.
• Handles raw materials.
• Maintain work area by keeping all tools and equipment in designated areas.
• Monitors all functions of Mixer (A), (B), and while in operation documents all data on Production Log.
• Maintains communications with the lead and supervisor of the mixing and tooling group.
• Handles and disposes of scrap material.
• Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in lean initiatives.
