Mars Petcare is hiring for an Operator 2 - Mixing at our Fort Smith, AR manufacturing plant. This night shift role supports the pet food production line, ensuring adherence to GMPs and food safety standards. You will load materials, assist with changeovers, and document data for shift reports.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to quickly respond.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces.
• Computer / IPad literate with the ability to enter, record, maintain, and retrieve data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety by following LOTO and confined space procedures in the factory.
• Follow procedures and work instructions.
• Load production materials and meet quality and safety standards.
• Assist product changeovers on primary equipment.
• Communicate with team to prevent downtime and quality issues.
• Operate equipment during breaks or as needed.
• Document quality attributes and production data for shift reports.
