Litehouse Foods in Lowell, MI is hiring a Mixer to operate batch systems, load ingredients, and maintain accurate production records. You will run metering and pumping equipment, perform changeovers, and keep the area clean and compliant with allergen protocols.

Starting pay is $20.50/hr with shift differentials of $1.50/hr for 2nd shift and $3/hr for 3rd/D/C shifts. Litehouse offers 401(k) matching, health benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–3 years in production or manufacturing.
• Ability to operate or learn batch automation technology.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs regularly.
• Self-motivated, independent and team-oriented.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems.
• Operate advanced batch automation computer systems (training provided).
• Changeover and wash out machinery between batches, following allergen protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and production area.
• Use scanners and inventory software to ensure FIFO and accuracy.
• Requisition ingredients and supplies; keep timely production records.
• Adhere to food safety policies and report concerns to supervisor.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
