Job summary

Litehouse Foods seeks a Mixer in Lowell, MA building and overseeing mix operations for spice, prep, and testing. The role supports high-value recipes, uses batch automation systems, and follows strict allergen protocols while maintaining clean, organized workspaces.

Flexible hours with overtime and weekend shifts are expected. Starting pay is $20.50/hr with second shift differential of $1.50/hr and third/double shift differential of $3/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–3 years in production/manufacturing.
• Ability to operate batch automation technology.
• Strong documentation accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems to produce high-value, detailed recipes
• Operate advanced batch automation computer systems (training provided!)
• Changeover and wash out machinery between batches while following strict allergen protocols
• Keep workspace and production area clean and organized
• Use scanners and inventory software to maintain accuracy and ensure FIFO practices
• Requisition ingredients and supplies; maintain accurate production records
• Adhere to all food safety policies and report concerns to supervisor
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
