Job summary

Litehouse Foods in Lowell, MA is seeking a Mixer to support batch production and maintain high quality standards. You will load ingredients, monitor batch systems, and ensure accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day duties include operating batch automation equipment, performing changeovers, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while following strict allergen protocols. Overtime and weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–3 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate or learn batch automation technology.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs regularly.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems.
• Operate batch automation computer systems (training provided).
• Changeover and wash out machinery between batches with allergen protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and production area.
• Use scanners and inventory software to maintain FIFO and accuracy.
• Requisition ingredients and supplies; maintain production records.
• Adhere to food safety policies and report concerns to your supervisor.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Shift: [5am-5:30pm]

Starting Pay: $20.50/hr

What You'll Do

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems to produce high-value, detailed recipes
• Operate advanced batch automation computer systems (training provided!)
• Changeover and wash out machinery between batches while following strict allergen protocols

• Use scanners and inventory software to maintain accuracy and ensure FIFO (first in, first out) practices
• Requisition ingredients and supplies; maintain accurate and timely production records
• Adhere to all food safety policies and promptly report any concerns to your supervisor
• Work flexible hours as needed, including frequent overtime and weekends

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• 0–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting
• Ability to operate or learn computer-based batch automation technologyStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
• Comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs. regularly
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-minded attitude
