Job summary

Mitchell Plastics in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Millwright for a night shift (11:00pm–7:30am). You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues, and document repairs on PM forms.

You’ll identify safety concerns, improve lighting in work areas, and take on additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager and senior leadership. A maintenance certificate and 3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintenance certificate or millwright/electrical/electronic certificate required.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM duties on equipment per PM schedule.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems.
• Record corrective action and repairs on PM forms.
• Identify safety concerns and repair unsafe conditions.
• Provide proper lighting for work areas.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or senior management.
