Job summary

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in McCalla, AL, is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join their team. This direct hire opportunity offers competitive pay and growth within a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and quality inspections, working 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday-Thursday with occasional Friday. OSHA compliance and 5S/Kaizen practices are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of lean principles and lean tools
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Knowledge of automation safety with high-speed equipment
• Material flow and supply chain understanding
• Physical strength to perform duties

Responsibilities

• Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Follow standardized work instructions and support improvements
• Perform quality checks and inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform emergency and scheduled equipment maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area adhering to 5S and Kaizen
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and use PPE correctly
