Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in metal painting
• Attention to detail
• Read and use a tape measure for surface measurements and paint application
• Must wear respirators and other protective gear while mixing and applying paints
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix paints according to specifications and ensure correct color, texture and consistency
• Apply paint to surfaces using airless and conventional spray methods for a smooth, high-quality finish
• Perform metal finishing steps to prepare surfaces for painting
• Conduct regular inventory checks and requisition supplies to avoid production delays
• Measure and verify paint thickness to meet quality standards
• Adhere to all safety procedures in the paint department
• Assist team members and support smooth operations in the department
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
