Job summary

Sandstone Care in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support residents in our 24/7 residential facility. You will provide direct client care, run therapeutic activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster a safe, healing environment.

Responsibilities include supervising clients during activities, responding to crises with de-escalation, documenting behavior, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college or 1 year of human services experience required.
• Associate's or bachelor's in psychology/behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and guide clients during activities, support goal achievement.
• Respond to incidents using de-escalation to maintain safety.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure consistent care.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Provide trauma‑informed care with a compassionate approach.
