Sandstone Care in Castle Rock, CO seeks a Mental Health Technician to support clients in our residential program. This role blends direct client care with therapeutic activity support and teamwork to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–2 years in human services, and CPR certification preferred. The position offers weekend coverage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of college or 1 year of human services experience required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s in psychology/behavioral health preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and guide clients during therapeutic and recreational activities; support skill-building and treatment goals.
• Respond to incidents using de-escalation to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure consistent care.
• Maintain records of client behavior and report significant changes; ensure confidentiality and safety.
• Provide trauma-informed care with a compassionate approach to clients.
