Job summary

Temple University Health System's Episcopal Campus is seeking a Mental Health Technician for the 11pm–7:30am shift, every other weekend. Under RN supervision, you will assist with patient assessments, provide direct patient care, monitor safety, and document care.

Education: HS diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in human services preferred. Experience: 2 years in human services or a Bachelor's degree required. Certification: Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of Registered Nurses completes portion of the patient assessment.
• Provides patient care, assesses units for safety and maintains complete and accurate documentation.
• Leads and co-leads therapeutic activities.
