Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a Full-time Behavioral Health Technician to support nursing staff in a 42-bed acute psychiatric setting. The role involves maintaining a therapeutic milieu, performing patient care tasks, and ensuring safety and documentation accuracy.

The BHT will assist with vital signs, ADL, nutrition monitoring, and mobility needs while following Joint Commission and state regulations. Night shifts are required and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance with regulations.
• Document patient observations accurately and communicate with nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff to maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Perform vital signs, weight measurement, ADL support and documentation.
• Secure belongings and ensure unit safety checks.
• Follow isolation and infection control policies and attend trainings.
• Record patient observations and communicate outcomes to nursing staff.
• Support patients with daily living activities and mobility as needed.
• Adapt care to age-specific and cultural needs.
