Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Memory Care - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift. Provide clinical care to residents per nursing standards and Erickson guidelines.

Candidates must be Maryland-licensed LPNs with CPR certification; 1 year in assisted living or long-term care preferred and EMR experience is a plus. Enjoy on-site centers, benefits, and growth opportunities within a vibrant senior living community.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
Licensed by the State of Maryland as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
CPR certification required.
Passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with residents and families using a caregiver approach, prioritizing resident well-being.
Assess, observe and document residents' clinical condition in the EMR and notify RN when necessary.
Update or modify care plans reflecting changes in care needs.
Supervise and lead care associates.
Administer medications timely and accurately per orders.
Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
Respond to residents and families in a timely, professional manner.
Review clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use).
Perform other duties as assigned by the RN clinical leader.
