Job summary

Larson House Assisted Living in Wisconsin is seeking a Medication Technician to provide safe medication administration, direct resident care, and support to all departments under the Administrator's guidance. You will review ISPs, report condition changes, mentor new staff, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment while upholding DHS and HIPAA requirements.

This role emphasizes teamwork and compassionate resident support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CBRF medication administration training and required core trainings.
• Experience in a CBRF or RCAC setting preferred.
• Excellent reading/writing and communication in English.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately following the Six Rights.
• Monitor residents for side effects and report changes.
• Maintain medication records and documentation.
• Assist with ADLs and activities of daily living.
• Review ISP before providing care.
• Support housekeeping, dietary, and activities teams.
• Mentor new caregiving staff and support onboarding.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and privacy.
