Job summary

Central Maine Long Term Care, Inc is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to administer medications to residents in a residential care facility under licensed supervision. The role includes routine tasks to support residents’ health and well-being, with collaboration among residents, families, and medical staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 or PSS Certificate; may be trained within 4 months of employment.
• Must have state approved 40-hour certificated medication administration certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care resident care is preferred.
• Current BLS or within 90 days of hire and maintain current.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to be able to accurately administer proper medication dosage.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs routine daily tasks to maintain resident health, comfort and well-being.
• Works with residents, families, medical professionals and facility staff.
• May act as CRMA and perform resident care when not administering medications.
