Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center is seeking a Medication Aide to administer medications to residents under the direction of a licensed nurse, following physician orders and established policies. The role requires state registry status and completion of the QMA competency program where required.

You must be enrolled in a high school program or hold a diploma, and have basic computer skills to use electronic health record software.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program if required by state.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Follow established nursing standards, community policies and state requirements.
